With an area of close to two acres, and six independent levels of seating, the interior of this magnificent opera house is as impressive today as it was when it first opened. Renowned for perfect acoustics, the interior is richly gilded and adorned with vivid wine-red seating. The modern calendar of events closely mimics original performances once showcased here, ranging from opera to dance.

Opening hours: Events are scheduled and generally require admission tickets. Guided tours can be booked however, and operate daily between 9.30am – 6pm.

Price: Prices for shows vary, but generally range from €12 for single ticket performances and lesser-preferred seating to €125 for premiere events and prime seating. Tour costs also vary depending on tour chosen, but range from €8 for adults and €5 for concessions (aged under 25 or over 65) up to €30 per person for a cocktail tour.
