About the location
Marina di Ragusa is a charming seaside town that offers visitors a great base for an authentic Italian escape. With a dazzling sandy beachfront and plenty of great dining options, the town is an ideal summer holiday hotspot - yet it also manages to maintain a more relaxed atmosphere than some of Sicily’s larger towns, and is great for visitors seeking to experience Italy’s more laid-back side. The modern harbour has breathed new life into the town, and makes it easy to enjoy boat trips around the coastline. Alternatively, there are plenty of spots for sunbathing by the sea, should you prefer to stay on land. When it comes to getting out and about, the spectacular baroque city of Ragusa is only half an hour’s drive away, and the pretty port of Punta Secca is even closer, at less than 15 minutes away.
The hotel is 1 hour 40 minute transfer from Catania Airport. Return private transfers included. To change your transfers or book car hire instead, simply call us once you’ve completed your booking.

Not what you expect from a 4 star. Need to add a tip if you want your room properly cleaned, including bathroom, all equipment obsolete and you get extra charges even to have your beach towel changed during your stay (had to negotiate not to) or a bottle of water in your room. Breakfast selection is limited and doesn???t feature local products. And the staff comes forward with a solution only after you display your disappointment (one day we had no water on our bathroom, I suggested we could use another room only to be told that there were no rooms available when the hotel was obviously empty. When we noted that this kind of treatment was unacceptable, the available room materialized out of the blue)

Stayed at this hotel, had a superior room which was nice but a bit unfinished. Tea and coffee maker in the room which was nice for Italy. Food okay, was staying on half board basis. Was able to go out for dinner 2 nights and the hotel agreed to let us have lunch instead. The wine was expensive and poor quality considering all inclusive guests had it on a tap and they were charging 9 euros for a glass.
