Roll up your sleeves – this 90-minute class is a real ‘hands-on’ experience. Usually held at a cosy restaurant a few minutes’ walk from the Trevi Fountain, you’ll don your apron and get stuck in to all aspects of preparing a proper Roman pizza.
Expert chefs will help you to make the dough from scratch and perfect your kneading technique, before teaching you how to ‘dress’ your pizza the Italian way – there are plenty of tasty toppings to choose from, so you can really get creative and experiment.
Once the class is over and everyone’s pizzas are in the wood-fired oven, you’ll sit down with wine (or a soft drink) and bruschetta, then tuck in to your masterpiece. You’ll finish off dinner with a delicious pudding and get your own rolling pin to take home as a souvenir.
We say: “This is a really fun cookery experience, suitable for all ages and all abilities – you definitely don’t need to be a master chef to enjoy it.” Tim Dicks, Product Executive
