Siena & San Gimignano

  • Enjoy a guided tour of Siena as well as free time to explore
  • The best views of the Tuscan Countryside on the scenic journey
  • Visit the medieval hilltop town, San Gimignano

With its incredible Gothic architecture and vibrant piazza, Siena is one of Italy’s most magnificent cities. Arrive after a relaxing journey through the picturesque Tuscan Countryside (approx. 2hours) and discover the city's wealth of architectural treasures on your guided tour. You will see the magnificent central Piazza del Campo, famous for the Palio horse race and the distinctive black and white Cathedral. The free time in Siena allows you to enjoy a delicious lunch – we recommend heading to a quaint café to try the local delicacy, Panino con porchetta (a porchetta-stuffed Panini).

Next, you will travel to San Gimignano. The remarkable medieval town is located on a Tuscan hilltop and promises idyllic views of the countryside from the majestic towers that dominate the skyline. It is no surprise the town has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the wonderful Rocca de Montestaffoli fortress and the 14th-century Torre Grosse tower, both historic icons of the area.
