Blevio Holidays

Located about 2km northeast of Como town, on the eastern shore of Lake Como. Blevio has a particularly mild climate, and a well-to-do atmosphere thanks to the beautiful villas that nestle on its shores. Made up of seven hamlets spread across the slopes of Monte Boletto to the shores of Lake Como, also known as the seven cities, the most important of which is Capovico which is the closest one to Lake Como.

Blevio is full of history and has been dated back to as far as the Iron Age. For centuries the town has been residential however today its crown and glory is the new Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como. Which sits like a majestic jewel on the shore of Lake Como.

The ideal time for swimming in the lake is from July to September when the water temperature exceeds 20 degrees. The climate in the spring and autumn is still warm which makes it perfect for visiting at the beginning or end of season too. For those who want to avoid the busiest crowds but still enjoy warm temperatures, May, June and September are ideal months to visit.
