Paestum was one of Italy’s premier Ancient Greek cities, and today offers a remarkable array of historic monuments. Founded by the Greeks in the 6th century BC, this city was dedicated to Poseidon, God of the Sea. Famous for the three ancient Greek temples standing in Doric order, the archaeological site is also home to a modern museum. Here you can discover interesting artefacts excavated from the site including unique tomb paintings.
On this excursion you will also visit a mozzarella farm which Paestum is famous for. See the whole process of the delicious buffalo mozzarella from start to finish, before having the chance to taste some at the end of the tour.
