Spend the days relaxing with views of the Duomo and coastline from the hotel’s rooftop panoramic terrace and heated swimming pool (normally in use May - October).
The cosy guest rooms are simply decorated, but this is more than compensated for by the hotel's location, views and well-known restaurant. The hotel’s Restaurant Savino’s terrace, complete with beach views, is an ideal spot for a light lunch or al fresco dinners.

About the location
Holidays to Positano give you the perfect introduction to Italy’s
glorious Amalfi Coast. Be prepared to be seduced by this lovely town, with its vertiginous houses of pastel pink, peach and warm terracotta spilling in disorderly fashion from the slopes of the Monti Lattari to the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
In romantic Positano, hand holding couples negotiate narrow rock cut streets which meander past local shops and little cafés. Duck into an a gallery or boutique selling the best of Positano’s luxury goods, before stopping to take in the view from one of the little bars selling spritzers and epicurean nibbles. Alternatively, simply relax on the beach and take a moment to listen carefully for the legendary call of the Sirens of Li Galli.
If you’re feeling energetic and in search of the best views, head to the Path of the Gods, which is a marked trail that runs from Bomerano to Nocelle. Positano is not just about today, look closely and there are reminders of Roman soldiers, of Benedictine monks and of a time when Ottoman pirates cast a covetous eye over the Amalfi coastline.
The hotel is 1 hour 30 minutes from Naples airport. Return private transfers included. To change your transfers or book car hire instead, simply call us once you’ve completed your booking.

Wonderful staff & service from pre-trip reservations, car transfers and check-in to final Covid test and check out. Pre-trip, the Covo staff was in regular communication about transfers and restaurant reservations. When we arrived the staff helped us book tours and arrange for Covid testing at the hotel prior to departure. Staff at both restaurants was excellent too. The main Covo restaurant meal was excellent with large by-the-glass and full bottle wine list. The casual pizza restaurant was also excellent, recognized by most locals as the best pizza in town. Will return.

This hotel might have once been a 5-star accommodation, but that was long ago. The location can't be beaten, but the rest leaves much to be desired. Dated rooms, rough towels, thin pillows - nothing in this hotel makes it feel like a luxury accommodation. The tone and communication by the staff (front desk and at breakfast) were curt and unaccommodating. Our check-in was good and the staff was helpful on occasion, but the overall sentiment and service left much to be desired. We visited Casa Angelina while there and it was in such sharp contrast where the staff went out of their way to meet our needs.
