Country Cooking with the Baronessa Small Group

Depart your hotel by luxury chauffeur driven vehicle to Paestum, on the Sele Plain (south of Salerno). You will be welcomed in Bellelli estate, which, is principally devoted to the raising of buffalos and horses. The start of the day is a pleasant walk around the farm to see the buffalos and learn how the buffalo milk is processed into first class mozzarella.

Then you will meet the Baronessa and start the cooking class. The products used are all grown on their land or on selected nearby farms. They are serious food lovers and take great care in the preparation of meals, which are inspired by the great tradition of Italian cooking at its best and the Baronessa will teach you her cuisine secrets. The menu may vary according to the season, you will prepare a full Italian menu based on diary specialties: homemade ravioli stuffed with buffalo ricotta cheese, Neapolitan ragout tomato sauce, fried mozzarella in carrozza, pizza and Neapolitan pastiera cheesecake. At the end of the course, you will be invited to the Baronessas table to have lunch. After lunch, relax in the garden or pop up to the archaeological area to visit the very well-preserved Greek Temples before returning to the hotel.
