About the location
Conca dei Marini is a tiny fishing village commune with just a handful of amenities, yet there is a quaint rural charm here that can’t be found in many other places along the Amalfi Coast. Relatively untouched by tourism, Conca dei Marini is perhaps best known for being the home of the hidden Grotto dello Smeraldo – a remarkable karst cave that rivals the Blue Grotto found in nearby Capri. Journey inside and the cave will divulge its secret feature – an inner chamber where visitors can witness a dazzling reflection of bright emerald light as the sunlight is dramatically refracted. Elsewhere in this cliffside village you can find a smattering of authentic restaurants, often with mesmerising sea views, as well as a sleepy marina that perfectly encapsulates the charm of the Italian coastline. Better still, Conca dei Marini is just a short drive from Amalfi and Furore, making it easy to explore these stunning towns during your getaway.

What a gem of a hotel in paradise! The entire experience was wonderful. From my first phone call to book rooms. The staff from the front desk to the pool (Antonio,) the dining room staff (Giuseppe, also know as Pepe) were incredible. Let’s not forget Ventura our wonderful bartender! And handsome Silvio!our every need was met. The wonderful people who kept our rooms perfect! The food was super ! The freshest fish, the most delicious pasta dishes, oh and those desserts were to die for! The chef is incredible! I would highly recommend this beautiful quiet hotel. There was just one little thing missing. That was a piano player for the beautiful bar area. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing stay!

This hotel has stunning views and we were lucky enough to be on the side of the hotel that has an amazing view over towards Amalfi.
Good points-
Views are amazing, breakfast is very good indeed for continental with lots of choice and served on a gorgeous terrace. The pool is very clean and gets sun all day (not a guarantee in this area!), staff are friendly and it’s very clean across the hotel and in the rooms.
Bad points-
Sound proofing is horrendous- you can hear everything from the corridors and each room around you, expect to be disturbed. Guests reserve beds at the pool early in the morning and don’t show up for hours- this isn’t prevented but should be as we saw a few groups struggle to sit near to each other despite all the empty beds around because they had been reserved. Beds are pretty hard and pillows not great, added to the poor soundproofing we had some nights of poor sleep.
Would we stay again- yes, for the views and the lovely pool but we would do so expecting to have poor sleep- pack earplugs!

We booked a massage with Victoria and Jessie with three kids 10-12-14 and one adult. We took the deep tissue of one hour and the youngest two the 40 min with facial massage. Their skills are great and I really recommend them to book a massage with. The surroundings at Belvedere in a beautiful tent-patio with curtains which allowed the see breeze were great too. All in all a great experience.
