Suggested Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Paris

Eurostar-2023-Trains-St-Pancras-001-300274-edit

A Eurostar train will zip you from London to Paris Gare du Nord. Spend the day wanderlusting through the Fashion Capital of the World, gaining spectacular panoramic views from the Eiffel Tower, or visit the Musée d'Orsay located in a converted railway station.

Day 2 : Milan

Milan, Northern Lombardy Region. Summer City Panorama Looking North West.

On your journey from France to Italy, marvel at the spectacular scenery of the Alps mountain range, before arriving into Milan. This city rivals Paris in terms of fashion, so be sure to stop by Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II for some high-end shopping. Duomo di Milano provides the perfect centrepiece to the city, where you can walk on its roof to view spectacular marble statues and gargoyles; over 3,400 of them in fact.

Days 3-4 : Bologna

Arrive into Bologna in just over an hour by high speed rail, and spend a couple of days discovering what the capital of Emilia Romagna has to offer. Nicknamed La Grassa, or "the fat one", Bologna is the gastronomic heart of Italy, where eating a good meal is part of the culture. Try the local favourites, such as delicious tortellini, or ragù alla Bolognese.

Days 5-6 : Florence

Santa Maria Novella in pink flowers in a summer day. Florence, Italy

Florence is only around 40 minutes away from Bologna via high speed rail, yet offers completely new and unique experiences that make it well worth spending a couple of days at least to explore. Florence is the city of the Italian Renaissance, and the capital of the Tuscany region. Featuring many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture, including Michelangelo’s “David” sculpture, Florence is a city well worth adding to your itinerary.
