I’ve always worked in travel, and have been with Citalia for nearly nine years now.
Everything! The architecture, the history, the diversity, the scenery and (of course) the cuisine.
My favourite is pappardelle al ragu di cinghiale (fresh pasta with wild boar ragu), served with verdure grigliate (grilled vegetables).
Spending a warm September evening chatting with locals at Verona’s Bar G&G (on via Fama) with good food and an Aperol.
Tuscany, for the beautiful landscape, medieval villages and pappardelle al cinghiale. Cilento, for the amazing scenery and the fact that it’s still a bit of an undiscovered gem. And finally Venice, for the architecture, intrigue and watery way of life – it’s unique!
Allow enough time to move away from well-known attractions, wherever you are, because there’s always so much more to discover.
