How long have you been an Italy Expert and what do you specialise in?
18 years and I specialise in all the beautiful regions of Italy. I was born and lived in Sardinia for 20 years, and sharing my experiences, and hidden gems is a passion of mine. I know Italy, from the cities and coast to the countryside and islands, the whole of Italy is my speciality.

1. What was your most memorable holiday meal?
The food on the Venice Simplon Orient Express is just incredible. Everything from the moment you arrive is simply spectacular. The service, food, everything is just amazing.2. What is the best thing about being in Italy?
Enjoying the traditional Italian way of life and savouring life as an Italian.
3. Where would you love to go next, and why?
Lake Como, it’s the only place I haven’t been in Italy. All the pictures I’ve seen, it truly looks so picturesque. Plus, I would love to meet George Clooney, who wouldn’t?
4. Do you prefer visiting cities, coast or countryside, and why?
I love the little city breaks; my next will be Florence. My ideal holiday is combining Venice, Florence and Rome with Sicily or Sardinia.
