The city of Naples is positioned on the waterside looking out towards the Gulf of Naples and famously neighbours the majestic Mount Vesuvius. Meet your guide near the Berninis Neptune Fountain in Piazza Municipio, start the tour reaching the historical centre with its ancient Greek streets, explore the Roman underground excavations and the numerous churches. Walk through squares that are representative of many invasions and cultural influences over the years. After some free time the guide will reach the monumental area of Naples enjoy the view of medieval Angiò’s castle and one of the world’s best neoclassical theatre, the Theatre of San Carlo. In front of San Carlo’s Theatre you will walk inside the liberty style shopping centre known as Galleria Umberto I and than the historical location of Via Toledo and Piazza Plebiscito.
