About the location
Holidays in Ravello take you to one of the most stunning locations in
Italy, overlooking the spectacular Amalfi Coast, between the towns of
Minori and
Amalfi itself. Ravello is built on a series of terraces above steep cliffs that plunge down towards the sea, with narrow streets gradually winding their way up towards Piazza Duomo, where the town’s 900 year old cathedral commands the square. It’s a charming spot that has been attracting the rich and famous for decades – artists, writers and film stars have all been captivated by Ravello’s charms, adding a splash of glamour to this rustic little place.
Explore Ravello’s rich history, with several medieval noblemen making their homes here. Their legacy remains in buildings like Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo. Both were later bought by wealthy British visitors and are now popular attractions because of their elegant architecture, ornamental gardens and incredible views. For relaxed days of wandering, Ravello’s streets and squares are peppered with cafés and restaurants, as well as craft shops selling the hand-made ceramics that this area is famous for.

Wow from the moment we drove up we knew this was a special place....view and room took our breath away.... exceeded all expectations of our truly Italian stay on Amalfi Coast!
Reception were super polite and helpful as was the bar and the restaurant.
The food was perfect, just enough and finished a perfect day.
Short few hundred metres walk to Ravello town square with exquisite shops , restaurants and bars!
The views are unsurpassed by anything we have had during our 3 month European tour!
Love this place would come back in heart beat.....a fairytale start to our Amalfi adventure💕🥂??????

My sister and I visited Ravello for the first time and stayed at this hotel. The location is great, as it's an easy walk to all the tourist attractions of Ravello, but you're not in the busiest parts of the town so are able to have some peace and quiet. The views are unbelievable - particularly from the breakfast restaurant. You have many walking trails nearby (highly recommend the picturesque walk to Minori via lemon groves and vineyards, which starts just a few steps from the hotel). The staff were friendly and helpful, and we loved the cute resident dog. Breakfast was yummy though (as it the case in many Italian hotel) most of what was on offer was sweet - a bit too much sugar first thing in the morning. This is a very classically Italian style hotel, where the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Ours had a good-sized terrace overlooking the sweet piazza just next to the hotel. The pool was a decent size (though a bit cold). It would have been nice to have more time to enjoy it, but given the amount of other places to visit nearby we just didn't have the time! Would definitely recommend this hotel. A little tip - bring a reusable water bottle to Ravello and you can fill it up from the multiple fountains dotted around town.

I was there for a few days. I did not know that they organize marriage parties within the hotel and I was not able to sleep until late in the night. Nothing to do with the reception, they answered several times without doing anything. An hotel should be a place were to sleep! Breakfast is continental but not special indeed.

I agree with all the good reviews regarding comfort, food and staff. There was a good selection at breakfast, although a bit heavy on sugary things like pastries and cake. For those on self-catering for lunch, turn right out of the hotel and you will find a tucked away mini-market within 100 yards. Light sleepers should know that there is a blind bend and pedestrian crossing in the road below the hotel, and drivers tend to give a toot as they pass, even at night time. A nasty shock is the Ravello accommodation tax which is charged at ???4 per head per night for up to 7 days. This is tacked on to the hotel bill and both can be settled by card. Finally, Ravello is a beautiful little town in a stunning situation, but no place for vertigo sufferers!
