Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel

We have stayed at the Convento eight times now and celebrated our wedding here in 2017. We fell in love with it the first time we stayed here. It is a very peaceful and tranquil hotel and always makes us feel relaxed and refreshed. The staff are wonderful, I won’t name them all here but they have become friends and we regard them as our Italian family. They are always so friendly, welcoming and attentive but never intrusive or overbearing. The rooms are clean amd comfortable, the restaurant is fantastic and the whole ambience of the hotel is relaxing. We always look forward to returning.

My family was vacationing around Italy on a cruise when my father experienced a serious health issue and was rushed to surgery in Mercato San Severino. After a nightmare hosital stay, we booked a 3 day recovery at Anantara Convent on Amalfi Coast. After a crazy ride up many winding roads we were graciously welcomed by the staff and treated like royalty. After such a scarring hospital experience we were transported to an environment that catered to all of our needs and treated us like royalty. The staff never uttered the word no, impossible or sorry. If there was a problem or a request, it was immediately handled. We went from hell in our last location to heaven. I would especially like to give a HUGE shout out to Sall, our bartender. He had tons of charisma and could make drinks that raised the bar of many other locations we’ve travelled to. He also has an OUTSTANDING long pour! Ask for the Paloma! I want to thank Anantara for providing the ultimate atmosphere for my dad’s recovery additional shout outs to Salvatore, the guy was working the restaurant every time we passed through. Seriously, I think the guy never sleeps yet he always has smile on his face! Harsh is another professional server who will go out of his way to meet your needs I have to be honest, you’re going to be hard pressed to find anyone who isn’t willing to make your stay amazing. We look forward to our next stay Amalfi Coast and our home away from home at Anantara.

Not only will the location but the staffs attention to detail will blow you away. We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and will be coming back again for future trips.
