Grand Relais dei Nuraghi

The only 5 stars unfortunately about this hotel are the amazing, conscientious friendly & hard working staff. Followed by the cleanliness throughout. The grounds around the bungalows are well looked after & we were upgraded to one with a private garden, however although the room itself you could say was rustic the bathroom definitely needed a big face lift ! Our shower door was forever falling off & had to be fixed 4 times during our stay. The so called private beach , sun beds, & beach bar were quite un loved, you could not really access the sea without some form of shoes rocks everywhere. Poolside sun beds & umbrellas, pool was always being maintained but really cold contemporary interiors throughout reception & bar, great views & amazing sunsets. Unfortunately the most disappointing thing was the food ! Breakfast ok plenty of fresh fruits & pastries but only boxed sugary cereals & yogurts all combined with the two slice domestic toaster !!!! Lunch menus & food lacked much lustre And … the dinner menu was seriously overpriced, tasteless, bland & gave you no inspiration to eat this poorly presented food . Overall like previous reviews I definitely think many aspects of this hotel only reached a 3 star. So all in all this holiday really did leave a sour taste in our mouths !

Just returned from this wonderful hotel. Words can’t describe how fantastic this hotel and all the staff are. We were greeted at reception, bags sent to our room and were shown round and walked to our room. When we got there the bags had already arrived. All the staff were very professional and also very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make us happy. The room was delightful and very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast and evening food was of the highest quality and the best hotel food we have ever eaten. This was true also of the meals you could order by the pool and at the private beach. The pool water was checked three times a day for cleanliness and was cleaned overnight by an underwater robot. The views from the pool area and private beach were out of this world Other guests using, paradise and heaven to describe the views. Thank you so very, very much for the room, food, views and brilliant staff. We had the holiday of a life time.
