About the location
Set near the northern tip of the island, Baia Sardinia is known for its wide sandy beach and crystal-clear waters. Located within a sheltered cove, this exclusive coastal town looks out to the spectacular Maddalena Archipelago – situated just a short boat ride from the town – and provides a great base from which to explore the Sardinian coastline.
Baia Sardinia’s attractions tend to revolve around the natural beauty of the area, with the beach taking centre stage. Watersports are popular, with sailing and diving among the town’s biggest draws for visitors.
For the young (or young at heart), the nearby Aquadream waterpark provides a good range of thrills, plus there are plenty of delights at Porto Cervo to be enjoyed, including a great museum and the local golf course.
Dining is generally local cuisine, although the luxury hotels dotted around the resort often offer more international fare, sometimes with great views to accompany. Expect to see seafood on most menus – it’s a local speciality thanks to the coastal location.

I've just come back from a wonderful break in sunny Sardinia - very quiet, safe & relaxing. This and many other hotels & restaurants are closing for the season in Oct due to the impact of C-19. The hotel was clean, cosy, has really friendly/helpful staff and leads onto a private beach at the back - which was a real bonus! Food was good too. Ideally located re the small beach & few restaurants/shops in Baia Sardinia.

We stayed for 1 week at the beginning of September on HB basis. The hotel was extremely clean & comfortable with good covid measures in place. We loved the setting with the numerous pools & different areas for sunbeds & great access to a lovely private sandy beach & small cove area. It was great for swimming & snorkelling. It was a 5 min walk into Baia Sardinia town where there is another beach, shops, restaurants & bars. You can also easily walk to numerous other small secluded little coves & beaches. There is plenty of parking if you hire a car. The food was of a great standard with a 4 course dinner each evening & a good selection of Sardinian wines. The only slight negative was the limited choice of food available during the daytime. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent half board 11 night stay - pleasant staff, spotlessly clean, superb restaurant with varied 4 course dinner menu and choice of pools. Also great location for snorkelling and access to neighbouring Baja Sardinia beach and shops. Only minus was limited hotel beach bar menu. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for!

The post covid changes make the stay feel very safe . All staff are extremely helpful and courteous. There were plenty of empty deckchairs on the beach which was supervised by a lifeguard. Our only disappointment was with dinner. The food was excellent but we had no choice of table and were allocated a table on the far side away from the view for our entire 6 day stay. The dining room lacked atmosphere amd service was if anything too prompt which rather spoilt the diming experience. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay !
