About the location
Set near the northern tip of the island, Baia Sardinia is known for its wide sandy beach and crystal-clear waters. Located within a sheltered cove, this exclusive coastal town looks out to the spectacular Maddalena Archipelago – situated just a short boat ride from the town – and provides a great base from which to explore the Sardinian coastline.
Baia Sardinia’s attractions tend to revolve around the natural beauty of the area, with the beach taking centre stage. Watersports are popular, with sailing and diving among the town’s biggest draws for visitors.
For the young (or young at heart), the nearby Aquadream waterpark provides a good range of thrills, plus there are plenty of delights at Porto Cervo to be enjoyed, including a great museum and the local golf course.
Dining is generally local cuisine, although the luxury hotels dotted around the resort often offer more international fare, sometimes with great views to accompany. Expect to see seafood on most menus – it’s a local speciality thanks to the coastal location.
The hotel is 30 minutes from Olbia airport. We recommend hiring a car in your destination. Simply call us once you’ve completed your booking and we will talk you through the options.

The Hotel is in a good location, 30 minutes drive from Olbia airport, with it's own private beach and multiple pool areas so there was always a private area to sit and relax. The sea was cold but the water was so clear you see the fish without even going underwater. We arrived quite late due to the plane delay and we were almost about to miss dinner so the staff left us do a quick check in before letting us go to the dinning area before getting the keys and going to the room. There are walks to explore from the hotel and it is a close walk to other shops and restaurants in Baja Sardinia. We stayed full board at the hotel and the food was delicious. There was a choice of grilled/bbq meat or fish, which is shown to you and cooked in front of you, as well as a huge selection of salads for lunch. Dinner was a 4 course menu with a starter and then a choice of 3 dishes for the first course, main course and dessert. The fresh pasta was amazing and it was very difficult not to overeat as it was so delicious. The breakfast was a little basic with a selection of bread, cereal, yoghurt, cake, cooked egg, sausages and cold meat. The staff were very nice and helpful especially the waiters who remembered what you liked for the following days and gave recommendations on where to explore. We also ordered a packed lunch one day when we rented a car to explore Alghero and it was one of the best packed lunches we have ever had prepared by a hotel. There was a selection of sandwiches, tomato and mozzarella salad, boiled eggs and grilled breaded escalopes all wrapped individually and given to us in cute cool bags. It was very plentiful and thoughtful. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

What a great hotel. Friendly staff, very good breakfast. But this hotels biggest draw must be its private beach with superb snorkelling just metres from the shoreline coupled with fantastic views across the bay. Not the cheapest but well worth it- we would all return without any doubts at all.
