Things to do in Savelletri di Fasano

Being situated on the coast, in an olive growing region, the combination of seafood and olive oil is a major attraction in and around Savelletri di Fasano, but there are a few other attractions in the vicinity too. The ruins of Scavi D’Egnazia are worth a visit if you are interested in the history of the Roman Empire and its predecessors. They lie between Fasano and Savelletri di Fasano, with the site covering several acres, some of it still unexcavated. You’ll also find a museum containing antiquities from the site.

Families will enjoy a day out at the Fasano Zoo and Safari Park which lies close to Fasano. With over 200 species of animals in the park, there is something for everyone here. The zoo also houses a large amusement park, which will keep the kids happy while the adults enjoy a gelato or two. You can take in a show with dolphins and sea lions during your visit here as well.
