About the location
Situated at the southern end of the lake, Garda is one of the main destinations along the coastline and enjoys a great location just 20 miles from Verona. It’s one of the most traditional resorts on the lake, offering the joint charms of a medieval centre and a pretty waterfront promenade.
The centre of the town is one of the most atmospheric found anywhere along Lake Garda’s shore, with winding alleyways and historic palazzos characterising the area. Be sure to visit some of the sights here, including the 16th-century Church of Santa Maria Assunta, known for its stunning gilded interior. You’ll also find as many independent craft shops as boutiques here, as well as plenty of authentic eateries and cute cafes.
The whole charming affair is watched over by the majestic Rocca di Garda – a huge rocky outcrop topped by the ruins of a 5th-century castle. The climb up can be challenging, but the views at the top are well worth it. When it comes to seeing more of the area, Verona is a top pick, being just over 30 minutes’ drive from the town.

We have just come back from a very memorable trip from this wonderful hotel and Garda itself.
The owners Magdalina, mum Maria along with the fabulous staff make this hotel a fabulous place to stay.
The receptionist???s katya, Conrad along with the restaurant staff are so hospitable , nothing was too much for them.
My family would like to say thank you to Michael, Dana, Carmen and Frederick for making our breakfast mornings special.
The chef Milanta catered for our vegetarian diet and was very creative with the variety of food presented to us every morning.
I would give this place 5 stars for their service, location, cleanliness , facilities like gym, tennis court, bicycle park.
We will definitely be back
Thank you all for making our stay a memorable one
We were in rooms 139/141

A little piece of paradise tucked away just outside the town centre of Garda. About a 4 minute walk to the lake through the busy little streets of Restaurants and shops. The hotel is dated but in a great way, it has so much character and a drop fronted breakfast lounge offering a fantastic view of the nearby mountains and village. The rooms are not huge but do provide sufficient facilities and good AC. The amazing team look after you from the second you arrive and can cope with any amount of queries and questions. Corrado at the front desk is a hive of information and has tolerance for the most testing of guests (sorry again Corrado!! "Passport"). Michele was incredibly helpful and looked after us at each breakfast and Lukas did his best to teach us the finer things about red wine. Although not all mentioned, they are all fantastic and I would recommend?? the hotel to anyone!

Beautiful family run hotel, set in a quiet location, yet 5 minutes walk to the lake. Typical Italian styling, lovely breakfasts, with good choices, rooms with views. Pool area excellent, plenty of sun loungers, no need to 'save the bed', as there are enough to go around. Staff are so friendly and helpful, with anything you need to know.

A classic Italian family hotel! Exactly why we love Italy; if you like slick, modern corporate style, look away. If charm, style and friendly, welcoming service are important, you will be happy here...
A classic Italian family hotel! Exactly why we love Italy; if you like slick, modern corporate style, look away. If charm, style and friendly, welcoming service are important, you will be happy here. Beautiful setting, 200 meters above the central promenade and ferry terminal. Lovely gardens, excellent pool, tennis courts on site.
Our room has views over the town and lake, private balcony, comfortable beds and good bathroom.
Breakfast has plenty of choice, fresh fruit, pastries, eggs to order. Good selection of light lunches and a bar open all day
Everywhere is beautifully maintained and pristine. Above all, though, staff who made us feel welcomed the moment we arrived
