Conveniently located a 5 minute walk from the hotel is the nearest pier, where you can hop on a traditional "battello" to explore the lake. The hotel offers three restaurants to delight your senses, you can enjoy Mediterranean dishes from the fishing Italian tradition at Gusto, Michelin Star restaurant at Kitchen, or in the summer months tuck into a tasty wood oven pizza at the open air Kincho Restaurant Grill and Bar, afterwards head to the Fresco bar inside for a more informal yet classy atmosphere.

About the location
Located just a few miles from Como, Cernobbio is a typical Italian town, situated on the edge of the lake and just in front of the majestic Monte Bisbino. The name Cernobbio derives from an old convent, 'Coenobium', which was situated where the luxury Villa D'Este hotel can now be found.
While the town is largely made up of terracotta-roofed houses, it also boasts a range of impressive attractions, with La Via dei Monti Lariani – the region’s most spectacular footpath – being one of the best. Starting close to the town, this hiking trail follows an incredible 80-mile route through the foothills and peaks around the lake’s edge, and is a must-do, even if you only follow a small section of the trail. One of the town’s lesser-known gems is the beautiful Il Giardino della Valle (Valley Gardens), which can be found nestled in Mount Bisbino’s foothills.
There is a good selection of restaurants and cafes on offer, ranging from lively bars to busy gelaterie, and from authentic trattorie to classy modern restaurants. In terms of getting out and about, Cernobbio is just a short drive from Como, and close to many smaller towns strung along the lake’s shore.

I’ve returned here several times, and it’s always a real pleasure. There’s so much I could say and many compliments I could give for the warm welcome we receive each time. Above all, I want to highlight Miss Ebalen during breakfast the way she greets guests so warmly is the perfect start to the day and always makes us feel at ease. Manager Toumi made an excellent choice, and his attention to detail truly made us feel at home. Together, they are the perfect duo and a shining example of genuine hospitality.

This hotel is modern and not on the lake, but is very close. The food was excellent and the pool is fabulous on a hot day. The beds are a bit hard but the room itself was big for European standards. Everyone was very nice and willing to give recommendations. If you are looking for old world charm and stunning views this is not the hotel for you. However, if you would like to be off the beaten path away from the crowds and treated very well, stay here!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Sheraton Lake Como. The location is absolutely fantastic, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains that make every moment feel special. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with a peaceful and elegant atmosphere.
One of the highlights was definitely the high-quality spa area — the pool with panoramic views is simply unforgettable and a perfect place to relax. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, always ready to help with a smile.
I’d especially like to highlight the professionalism of the front desk team — both Lorenzo and Laura were exceptional in making us feel welcome and well taken care of. Their attention to detail and guest-oriented attitude made a real difference.
We also really enjoyed the food at the poolside restaurant — delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Breakfasts were generous and varied, with one standout feature: a station where you can create your own fresh juices using a selection of prepared fruits and vegetables. It’s such a thoughtful and healthy touch.
Overall, I highly recommend staying at this hotel — for the views, the service, the spa, and the overall experience. We’ll definitely be back!

As a luxury travel advisor in the luxury , I rarely recommend a restaurant with such conviction: Kincho, located inside the Sheraton Lake Como, is a true gem. An elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service, and a cuisine that enhances local flavors with a contemporary touch. Definitely one to keep on your radar for when you are around Como Cernobbio area.

We did a post cruise through AMA Waterways in Lake Como and this was the hotel we were booked into. Would this have been my first choice no. Being in Lake Como a lake view would have been ideal. I am also not one for chain hotels. All that being said, the Sheraton was clean, spacious areas and the staff were very good. The room overlooked an old garage not what I imagined I would see out my window being in Lake Como, a huge disappointment!!! I get it was probably a block of rooms for AMA but some sort of better view would have been appreciated.
I understand the breakfast buffet was a hit, I did not go down but my husband brought me up some food.
Location not great, needed to get a taxi to go out to dinner. The ferry is a short walk away to get you to Como. IMO I would choose a hotel right on the lake and in the center of town and a more quaint charming hotel, you are in Lake Como remember.
