It’s the perfect way to experience Italy’s lagoon city; you’ll tour La Serenissima with a knowledgeable guide, before enjoying plenty of free time to discover Venice on your own terms.
You’ll start the day with a coach transfer from your resort, before taking a private boat from the mainland straight to St. Mark’s Square. Get your bearings with an escorted tour, and then the rest is up to you. Venice is the perfect city to explore on foot; stop for a photo on the Bridge of Sighs, marvel at the 14th-century Doge’s Palace or stop for espresso in a canal-side café.
If you’d like to include any extra activities, your guide can help arrange a gondola ride along the canals, or a boat trip across the lagoon to see the islands.
