Great location, about a 15-minute walk from the train station. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Room was clean but the bathroom had a large mildew stain on the ceiling (I pointed this out to the staff but it was never cleaned). We thoroughly enjoyed the roof-top lounge on the 5th floor, great drinks with complimentary aperitivo.

We booked an apartment for a half term city break in Bologna with day trips to Venice and Florence. Firstly, the location is great. It’s a 20 min mono-rail ride (Marconi Express) straight from the airport terminal to Bologna’s main station. Then, a 10-15 minute walk to the main hotel. We had no problems with one large suitcase, hand luggage and two kids under 9. Once checked in, a lady walked us slightly further towards the city centre (circa 3 minutes) to the actual apartments which have a modern entrance foyer and elevator. The room was spacious, clean and with two separate sleeping areas, a kitchen and large bathroom. On the same road is the great “Mo Mortadella Lab” which is a great first lunch when you arrive! Opposite is a Chinese Restaurant but there was no cooking smell or noise. The only downside to our stay was that we could hear our upstairs neighbours through the ceiling. They had young children which ran around a lot and it was quite noisy. The reception staff were kind enough to call them and all was fine afterwards. Note: You can’t buy family passes for the Marconi Express at the ticket machine. You need to download an app and purchase it that way. It will reduce the cost of a return from just under €100 for four people to just under €50, so it’s well worth doing. Once purchased, simply scan the QR code on your e-ticket to get through the barriers.

A wonderful hotel in a perfect location. The staff are incredible friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the coffee excellent. The ladies at breakfast were great. I really can't say enough about every employee we came in contact with and how great their attitude and attention to detail. The hotel is spotless, and housekeeping is really. really good.
