Giusti Gardens

Surrounding the grand Piazza Giusti, the Giusti Gardens are often considered to be one of Italy’s finest formal gardens. Mozart visited them during his illustrious career, and the romantic designs are said to provide endless love for couples who take a stroll through the grounds. Planted in the 16th century, these manicured gardens are an alluring combination of elegant hedgerows, ancient stone statues and enchanting grottos filled with mysteries of the past.

The gardens are full of surprises waiting around every corner, from an intricate brain-teasing maze to an enchanting belvedere lookout set high above the garden’s terraces. With a setting just a few minutes from the city’s riverfront, the Giusti Gardens are a great place to spend some time relaxing after a busy day.

Opening hours: Open every day, from 9am – 8pm between April and September, and from 9am – 7pm between October and March.
