About the location
Everyone knows about Pisa’s Leaning Tower and magnificent baroque basilica, but look behind these brochure cover stars and you’ll find an array of modem museums, picturesque piazzas and exceptional restaurants vying for your attention. Of course, the city’s wonky bell tower is its main draw and is entirely deserving of its worldwide fame. Taking a novelty photo in front of the tower is great fun – book ahead if you want to climb to the top to avoid the queues. The entire area, known as the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and packs plenty of appeal. Along with the tower, you can visit landmarks including the 11th-century marble-clad duomo and the remarkable baptistery, believed to be the largest in Italy.
Wander just a few streets away and you’ll discover a much more typical Pisan scene; locals milling about beneath rustic townhouses, and bustling cafes nestled in peaceful squares. Piazza de Cavalieri and Piazza Dante are two such examples of the authentic Pisa that many miss. Pisa’s botanical gardens are also worth a visit, and feature numerous rare plants set in surprisingly tranquil surroundings, especially considering their location is just a 10-minute stroll from the city’s famous Leaning Tower.
The hotel is 10 mins from Pisa airport. We recommend hiring a car in your destination. Simply call us once you’ve completed your booking and we will talk you through the options.

Good hotel to stay in Pisa; next the train station, about 900m to the centre. Good restaurants around. The price is excelent and the breakfast as well. The place is clean. Some rooms have bathtube, others don't. The only problem I saw in this hotel is that having a very beautiful and large restaurant they don't serve lunch and dinner. It should be a great ideia to improve the service is such a way. I have to go to Pisa often and every time I go I stay at NH. And I'll continue to chose this hotal for my stayings.

We were leaving from Pisa airport, and this hotel could not have been more convenient, facing Pisa Centrale train station which also houses the Pisa people-mover which takes 8 minutes and runs every 10 to the airport. The hotel is modern, clean and efficient with well-designed rooms. Ours actually had a balcony and it was possible to open the doors and cool off the room in the morning after our shower. The key-insert for lights is horizontal not vertical, along the line of red lights; give your key a good push. There's no restaurant but they do have good sandwiches in a machine. The staff are kind and friendly. There are pretty good international choices on the TV. The room we had was well designed, with retractable comfortable chairs tucked away, an effective safe, (basic) minibar and ample hanging and drawer space.
We'd asked for but did not get a walk-in shower so had to clamber into the tub. Not too bad. Breakfast was excellent. As you go out, turn right and right, you're at the main square and beyond that the great Centro Storico and shopping area, and up to the Arno. Go the other way and the district is much less salubrious.Good value. So convenient.
