About the location
Everyone knows about Pisa’s Leaning Tower and magnificent baroque basilica, but look behind these brochure cover stars and you’ll find an array of modem museums, picturesque piazzas and exceptional restaurants vying for your attention. Of course, the city’s wonky bell tower is its main draw and is entirely deserving of its worldwide fame. Taking a novelty photo in front of the tower is great fun – book ahead if you want to climb to the top to avoid the queues. The entire area, known as the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and packs plenty of appeal. Along with the tower, you can visit landmarks including the 11th-century marble-clad duomo and the remarkable baptistery, believed to be the largest in Italy.
Wander just a few streets away and you’ll discover a much more typical Pisan scene; locals milling about beneath rustic townhouses, and bustling cafes nestled in peaceful squares. Piazza de Cavalieri and Piazza Dante are two such examples of the authentic Pisa that many miss. Pisa’s botanical gardens are also worth a visit, and feature numerous rare plants set in surprisingly tranquil surroundings, especially considering their location is just a 10-minute stroll from the city’s famous Leaning Tower.

Extremely poor customer service 😢
I visited this hotel today while on Pisa.
It looked clean and inviting. Based on previous experience with NH hotels I didn't expect the attitude of the staff!
I don't recommend for the discerning tourist who is used to being welcomed.
An easy way to ensure I will avoid this hotel chain if possible.
Rude!

Rooms extremely dated and nothing like the photos. Comfy and very large bed though! Bathroom really dated and not very clean - hair (not mine) on tiles in shower area and shower head really grubby. Lack of plug sockets / charging sockets - only had 1 in a double room and in a very awkward place. Reception area nice and staff friendly. Ok for 1 night.

Excellent location but NOT 4* The advertised rooms are not the 6 rooms anyone in our party of 9 stayed in. The rooms are basic and dated and clean so not worth the price. The breakfast was good but could last longer than 10am, we are on holiday. The room cards never worked and needed resetting each day.

We stayed at NH Pisa for a night after visiting the leaning tower in late June. The hotel lies opposite to the city's main train station, a very convenient location. Also it's a short walk to the city center as well. The hotel's reception hall is neat and bright, though the room is a bit tired. Breakfast was typically Italian with adequate varieties.
We paid for parking at the hotel's garage, which is big and easy to park but located in the side street next to the hotel, where the hotel main entrance is not able to drive as it's a bus line only.
Overall for a night it was a good choice.
