Located on the breathtaking Sicilian coast, Eurostars Monte Tauro combines contemporary elegance with an excellent location.

The hotel is nestled on a cliff overlooking the Ionian Sea, its prime location offers guests panoramic views of the sea and the iconic Mount Etna.
It is a modern hotel, and it incorporates geometric shapes and large, glass-fronted areas that showcase the natural surroundings and maximize the stunning seascape.

Conveniently situated, the hotel is only a short walk from the historical and cultural attractions of Taormina, including the magnificent Greco-Roman amphitheatre, the picturesque Corso Umberto shopping street, lined with boutique shops, cafes, vibrant restaurants, and the scenic Piazza IX Aprile.

Beyond the town, nature lovers can unwind on Isola Bella, a picturesque nature reserve connected by a narrow sandy beach, or explore the island’s diverse terrain and quaint villages - all with the mighty Mount Etna imposing on the skyline. 

The hotel is accessible via 40 steps and therefore not suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Citalia does not accept children at this hotel, however this is not an adult-only property.

The hotel has 98 rooms (official rating 4 star). Minimum stay of 6 nights in high season (between end of July and August).

There are various beaches located along this stunning coastline. The nearest to the hotel can be reached by cable car, which runs every 15 minutes, or a 10 minute drive.

Swimming Pool

Soak up both the Mediterranean sunshine and the panoramic views of the Bay of Naxos, from the large swimming pool. Umbrellas and loungers line the edges for a comfortable spot to relax during your stay.

Just a five-minute walk from the lively heart of Taormina set on a hilltop overlooking the sea, the hotel places you within easy reach of the historic sites, boutique shops and vibrant restaurants. A short stroll takes you to the lush Villa Comunale di Taormina, a serene park filled with Mediterranean plants and breathtaking views of the coastline. For history enthusiasts, this region offers plenty to explore - wander through the ancient Castello di Taormina or catch a performance at the Teatro Antico di Taormina, a Greco-Roman amphitheatre. 

Beyond the town, guests can get back to nature on Isola Bella, easily reached by cable car or 10 minute drive. The picturesque nature reserve is connected by a narrow sandy beach, which offers the ideal spot to relax by the water. With Catania-Fontanarossa Airport 45 minutes by car and the train station a 10 minute drive, the hotel’s location makes for a smooth start to your stay.
