Etnaland is Southern Italy’s largest theme park, packed with hair-raising rides and exhilarating waterslides. For thrill-seekers, the Storm rollercoaster is a must; plunging riders down near vertical drops and through a heart-stopping heartline roll, as is the Etnaland Tower drop ride, which propels brave guests to heights of more than 20 storeys. There’s plenty for younger visitors, too, including the junior Hip Hop Coaster.
When it comes to cooling off in the summer sun, Entnaland also has it sorted. The theme park happens to boast several exciting rapids rides, including the Jungle Splash, which hurtles riders down a 100-foot drop and into a vast, tropical lagoon. Then there’s the Etnaland Waterpark – a separate thrill park dedicated to soaking, and filled with contorting slides and enormous pools. From the freefall drops of the Kamikaze slides, to the 400-foot tumble of the Twister slides, there’s something for almost everyone here. As far as attractions go, this is one of Sicily’s very best, and perfect for families wanting a day off from sight-seeing.

Entrance Fee: Theme park entry is €28 per adult day ticket, €17 per child under 1.4m height day ticket, and €22 per adult evening ticket, €17 per child under 1.4m night ticket and free entry for children less than 1m in height.
