About the location
The small town of Alberobello nestles in the peaceful countryside of the Itria Valley. Its star attraction is its trulli – round, whitewashed dwellings with slate-grey conical roofs. They line the streets in two areas of town, Rione Monti (where you’ll find most of the shops) and Aia Piccola (the quieter, more residential area).
From the Santa Lucia belvedere (viewpoint), the trulli look a little like a toy town. Wander the hilly streets among them and you’ll see that these quirky little houses have been transformed into shops, wine bars and mini-museums. You can even stay in a trullo if you’re after an authentically Apulian hotel.
You’ll find the odd trullo here and there in Alberobello’s newer part of town, along with some fantastic restaurants and cafes. In terms of getting out and about, the Adriatic coast and caves of Castellana are short drives away, plus you’ve got the Itria Valley on your doorstep – perfect for scenic drives, walks and bike rides.
The hotel is 1 hour 15 minutes from Bari airport and 1 hour from Brindisi airport. We recommend hiring a car in your destination. Simply call us once you’ve completed your booking and we will talk you through the options.
Max 2 adults
Much of the original structure of the Trulli properties have been left untouched and the furnishings within are evocative of Puglia's rich history; from the stone arched walls to the low laying beams above and the traditional linen used on the bed. For a touch of comfort the Trulli's each have a television and wifi is available for guests.

My husband and I stayed in a trullo in Trulli Soave's portfolio for one night, and really enjoyed it! The trullo itself was super cute and clean, and located in a convenient location on the quieter side of town (Ai Piccolo) -- this was perfect as it felt a bit more authentic than the super-touristy area, but also still convenient to the tourist area if we wanted to walk over. The service was wonderful as well. The person at check-in was super helpful and hopped in our car with us to direct us to the location of our trullo, and showed us the best place to park for free, as well. Breakfast was a really yummy buffet, and they actually had an interesting policy where they charge you extra for each thing you leave on your plate but don't eat, which encourages you to only take what you will eat. This policy threw us off at first (not the buffet experience we're used to in America!) but makes a lot of sense and was great for discouraging waste. Overall we had a great stay at Trulli Soave and had no complaints.

This is a well positioned Trulli excellent for getting to most places in Alberobello on foot. Nowhere is very far from here. Parking if you have a car can be a pain and you often have to walk quite a way if you are lucky enough to find a space.
The Trulli has 1 small double bedroom with just a ladder hung on the wall to hang your clothes and a construction made from several wooden boxes laid on their side that are used as shelves/drawers - quirky! There is a larger room with a sofa bed, a table with 2 chairs, and a small kitchen area. Air conditioning unit is in the larger room. The bathroom is small and the shower even smaller. If you are particularly large or particularly tall this is not for you. If you like shower gel bring your own as only small sachets are provided. There is no outside space at all.
Breakfast is a minute down the road in a local cafe and quite basic although the coffee is good.
