About the location
The small town of Alberobello nestles in the peaceful countryside of the Itria Valley. Its star attraction is its trulli – round, whitewashed dwellings with slate-grey conical roofs. They line the streets in two areas of town, Rione Monti (where you’ll find most of the shops) and Aia Piccola (the quieter, more residential area).
From the Santa Lucia belvedere (viewpoint), the trulli look a little like a toy town. Wander the hilly streets among them and you’ll see that these quirky little houses have been transformed into shops, wine bars and mini-museums. You can even stay in a trullo if you’re after an authentically Apulian hotel.
You’ll find the odd trullo here and there in Alberobello’s newer part of town, along with some fantastic restaurants and cafes. In terms of getting out and about, the Adriatic coast and caves of Castellana are short drives away, plus you’ve got the Itria Valley on your doorstep – perfect for scenic drives, walks and bike rides.
Transfer time
The hotel is 1 hour 15 minutes from Bari airport and 1 hour from Brindisi airport. We recommend hiring a car in your destination. Simply call us once you’ve completed your booking and we will talk you through the options.

The experience was nice. We just think the breakfast could be improved ??? I paid ???10 per person, and my son only had a bowl of cereal. It???s advertised as a buffet, but it???s not really a buffet since you have to request everything you want each time.
Apart from that, everything else was good. We had a good time in Alberobello, and do recommend it.

Staying in a Trulli for 2 nights was wonderful experience & I would have rated it 5 stars but unfortunately when you opened the door it was like living on a building site with building work taking place & areas fenced off. The Trulli itself was very comfortable & clean & breakfast at the nearby cafe was a better experience than expected after reading previous reviews. Alberobello was as wonderful as we hoped it would be & we still managed to enjoy our stay here.

Be aware- the picture is not where you start/ check in. Look for the office on the square indicated- it does have a Trulli Soave sign in the window but little else to indicate where to find them! Also- do not arrive in the middle of the day- closed for lunch until 3pm.
However if you do arrive around that time there is a good lunch place opposite!
The Trulli we had was neat, small (of course!) and clean. Not in the most picturesque area of Alberobello unfortunately but this seems to be a lottery???.However it was comfortable and a nice experience. Alberobello is a maximum 2 night venue.
Parking advice: do not park at the big car parks on via Independenza (although they are good people and helpful) but seek out a free car park on via Giuseppe Mazzini (voluntary contribution to the guy there). It is closer to the action, cheap and big, although a little crude. We were advised of this by Ilsa at Trulli Soave and wished we had known before arriving.
