The hotel is well located with friendly staff, but our stay did not meet our expectations. The pool was closed for our entire visit which was disappointing. The room had a great view, but the mattress and pillows were not very comfortable and below five-star standard. The hotel bar is lacking in comfort and character. Adding more sofas and armchairs in place of the basic tables and chairs would create a warmer, more inviting atmosphere. As it stands, the space doesn???t feel particularly cosy or relaxing to spend time in.
Breakfast was good but the selection overall was limited, especially for hot food options. On our second morning, breakfast service was very poor. I ordered poached eggs and coffee when I was seated. After 25 minutes, despite only five other guests being in the dining room, the eggs still hadn???t arrived and I had to leave to check out and catch my flight home. This poor level of service is totally unacceptable at this standard of hotel. I mentioned the issue at check out as there was no duty or restaurant manager present that morning. Reception asked for my email and told me a manager would follow up. Four days later and there has been no contact from the hotel which reflects a disappointing lack of professionalism and customer care.
Overall we were underwhelmed by the Hotel Principi di Piemonte and the level of service was disappointing. We made the wrong choice of accommodation this time. We???ll try the Turin Palace hotel on our next visit to the city.

Thank you to the team at Principi di Piemonte.
My wife and I stayed for four nights at the end of November 2025. Although we had some technical difficulties with the air-conditioning in our room, we were genuinely impressed by how professionally the situation was handled.
Silvia was outstanding. She worked extremely hard to manage the problem, kept us fully informed and, above all, made us feel listened to and welcome. She really did make our stay special and is a real credit to the hotel ??? exactly the sort of person who keeps a property at 5-star level. Thank you, Silvia.
Francesca, who oversees the breakfast service, was also excellent ??? calm, professional and kind. She is the kind of manager every hotel and restaurant wants: discreetly watching over staff and service so that everything runs smoothly, while always greeting guests with a warm smile.
At checkout, we were met by the hotel manager, who was gracious and apologetic, and I later received a thoughtful follow-up email from the regional manager. This kind of highly professional, personally engaged and skilled management sets a hotel apart and clearly shapes the culture of the whole property.
Overall, thank you for the excellent service and a very warm, welcoming stay in Turin.

After a disappointing stay, we were asked by the Director to give the hotel a second chance. We were once again welcomed by the friendly door staff. The receptionist was efficient and courtious, the check-in went swiftly. We received an upgrade, always a welcome attention. The accommodation was amazing. Comfortable and spotless.
So far so good, but then we went for dinner to the terrace restaurant were we were we had a wonderful meal, excellent service from a Spanish speeking waiter. But best of all there was life music and the atmosphere and ambience was truly amazing and we spent a glorious evening. We were sorry it ended . . . .
Next morning breakfast was served in our room and was flawless. The softboiled eggs were perfect something that doesn't happen very often in hotels.
All in all this stay was spectacular and quoting Arnold schwarzenegger 'well be back'!

This was not our first stay at the Principi nor will it be our last. This establishment served as home for my husband for the better part of 2 years while he was in Torino on work. Although we had not visited in almost 17 years, when we walked back in, some of the faces had changed but still, it felt like home. This hotel is a 5-star hotel for a reason. It treats its customers like family and ensures they want for nothing. Upon entering the lobby, the front desk or bell men (or both) greet you and ask if you require anything. The people there can help you with everything from getting additional linens in your room, to booking you a side trip to Asti, to making dinner reservations. They truly are there to help. Sylvia is who helped us with our group room reservation since we were there for work and really went above and beyond to help. The hotel is in a great location for food, shops, and museums.
If you???re in the mood for a nice beverage or snack after a long day of work or shopping, you can stop for a drink at the bar. Each of the barmen at the Prinicipi provide exemplary service in a professional manner. The head barman, Flavio, is really a craftsman in his own regard. Be sure to stop in and ask him to make you something special. As an award winning barman and ambassador for the Italian hospitality industry, he is really an amazing asset. Davide, Stefano, Elisabeta, and Melissa round out the rest of the team. Davide and Stefano are the other two barmen we got to know well on this trip and we really enjoyed our evenings with them. In fact, we had so much fun at the bar, we never even made it to the beautiful spa. I did go take a look and the facilities are amazing.
As I mentioned, while some of the faces have changed since we were there last, the lovelyness of the hotel has not. The rooms are impeccably cleaned and maintained and have a wonderful variety of amenities which was wonderful after a long day of work. One change we weren???t really a fan of was the bar itself. It seems that since we left, the bar area has been renovated. The renovation is very nice with great sitting areas and nice lighting. However the look of the bar is very much overshadowed by the large drink service machine sitting on the bar. It makes the area look cluttered and frankly, ugly. It doesn't fit with the beautiful motif of the bar and doesn't seem to work either. This machine should be removed if nothing more than aesthetic purposes. Also, I find it more enjoyable when the barman pours my glass for me, as opposed to some machine doing it. Just seems like a waste and it takes away from the ambiance.
The hotel, its rooms, its staff, and its location make it perfect and we will continue to visit for decades to come.
