I had a reservation at this hotel for June 2020 and, since it was closed due to the pandemic, I moved my reservation for August 2020, in an attempt to take the original trip, but it was not possible either.
I have been asking for a refund to the hotel manager, Fabrizio Musso, since then, but he has been creating difficulties. First, he asked me to be patient and seek for another date, and I did. But it is clear that I cannot take the trip this season again and I do not know when I will be able to take it, if ever. It is not fair that my money remains frozen with him while hotel costs increase every season.
Then, he said my reservation does not allow refunds, but this kind of reservation says refunds are not allowed if I cancel or change my reservation, which was not the case, since the hotel was closed and did not provide the hired services. Finally, he created one more excuse saying that the Italian legislation does not allow for refunds. Once again, this is not true because it gave an alternative for the refund, a credit voucher for twelve months, only an alternative. And it has been more than twelve months now. And I have received my reimbursement from other hotels in Italy with reservation for this same period.
Now he says the hotel is in bad financial situation, another big concern for customers, and does not answer my emails.
I do not recommend this hotel at all due to the bad treatment received through my emails and lack of transparency. Please, avoid this hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights and very impressed with every aspect, warm and cosy in an excellent location and although in a very central position was very quiet. Room/bathroom very spacious with separate wardrobe area. All staff were welcoming and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent, varied and plentiful there was even sparkling wine on offer! my only niggle was operating the shower which I discovered did not operate unless the towel rail was on, it would have been appreciated if this was turned on prior to my visit. I am disappointed that when I enquired if they had other Hotels this unfortunately is the only one which is a real shame.

This is one of those grand old hotels. It???s extremely well located, just a block away from the high street of Turin. The Egyptian museum is nearby; as are many restaurants. During the two days I was in Turing we walked around the downtown.
There are cafes around so we did not book breakfast.
The place is professionally run. When I asked for a good restaurant, I was directed to one about 10 minutes away, not to the one in the hotel itself.
For some, it can be professionally cold.
But it's old fashioned: there are steps leading to the reception so a porter is needed to help take the luggage up.
Parking is available on on the hotel???s grounds for 15???.
Yes, it's worth considering if you want to be in the town centre.
