A private tour of the Sorrentine Peninsula along the scenic Amalfi Coast with your private guide and driver. The route will take you across the mountains and through various lemon groves and orchards to your first stop in the town of Positano, a journey of around an hour. With your guide, you will visit the famous Santa Maria Assunta Church, home to a unique painting of a black Madonna and baby Jesus. There will also be time to explore the town which is famed for its linen clothing, tailored leather sandals and brightly painted ceramics.
Continuing on, you’ll visit the town of Amalfi which is around 50 minutes further along the coast. Again you will get the opportunity to explore with your guide and visit the beautiful cathedral with its stunningly unique façade. The last stop along the coast will be Ravello, 15 minutes beyond Amalfi, and easily the quietest of the three. Here you can wander around the narrow streets and enjoy soaking up the peaceful atmosphere. On arrival, you will visit Villa Rufolo and its beautiful gardens and terrace that appears to float above the sheer cliffs below. It is also the site of the famous Ravello Music Festival every summer. Your tour of the town will also take in the lush gardens of Villa Cimbrone and the famous Terrace of Infinity for some of the coastline’s best views.
