Having arrived from a late night flight we were courteously welcomed by the hotel concierge. We arrived in our room to discover they had laid on a delicious snack which was very appreciated.
The hotel is traditional and values its heritage and history. All the staff are professional, courteous and friendly. Meals are taken either on the terrace or the beautifully decorated Four Seasons dining room.
The bedrooms have either a sea or garden view and are tastefully decorated.
We were invited to join the hotel in a 5 course gala dinner to celebrate "Ferragosto" which was held outside around the pool and was a fabulous night.
The hotel is situated close to the port for trips to Capri and the Amalfi coast and is within walking distance to the square and many shops situated in the alleys and walkways.
Meals were served by the staff who were very attentive to ensure all the guests were treated to a high standard of service. The 3 course dinner menu is changed everyday and constitutes three choices for each course.
Thanks to Marrinella, Emilio, Alessandro, Tony and "Jack" the Maitre'd for their excellent service and friendly manner. We hope the tie fitted!!!!
The pool and gardens allow some privacy between guests and are very well kept. Thanks to Pasqual for providing us with towels and sun lounges.
Also thanks to Rosanna on the Conceiarge desk for my daily Italian lessons.
Thank you for a fabulous stay and we look forward to "Torna a Surriento".
Grazie Mille.

My review is a little late. I stayed 6 nights in September 2019 with my mom on a girls bucket list trip. This hotel checked all the boxes for me. Beautiful views, attentive staff, comfortable rooms, historic charm, and best of all LOCATION. Seriously, the location can't be beat. Located right next to the elevator for the marina picolo, centered in town near all the cute little restaurants, walking distance to Marina Grande, when you stay here, you are never far from where you need or want to be.
Special thank you to Romano for his kind and attentive service. I will never forget my stay at this hotel. It was like living a fairy tale.
Simply put, this hotel cannot be beat on location and quality for the price. Yes there are more glamorous places, or places with more fruit or whatever for breakfast, but your dollar goes further here and it doesn't feel like you had to make any sacrifices either. 10/10 Would recommend and I hope I get to stay here again one day.

These people are rude. Room 104 for my 25th wedding anniversary. Great view but all rooms on this side are below dining room with just okay food. A great hotel for menis friendly service. The Bell hop was the most accomodating of all the staff. If you ask for something such as Coffee and a slice of cake at the pool at night after 9pm they got annoyed. Dont be in the customer service business if you dont want to do it. Rude. Romano the manager kept my money he found in the safe. He said there was no way to get it back to me in The United States because it was in American dollars 300.00. I told him on the phone keep the money and use it towards the 111.00 charge to my room for bottles of water. Again this was impossible. So to put it as simple as possible Romano will not help you period. He kept my money and we say in Italian he is a Truffatorre Vergognoso (DISGRACEFUL CROOK) Go somewhere else it rates middle of the pack. They didn't make the mountain so you can go elsewhere for a great view and great customer service
