Hotel Gardenia

Gardenia hotel gives itself 3 or 4 stars. For a 3 or 4 stars hotel, I give 5 points here on TA. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. I stayed there 5 nights with my family of four in a family room. We were offered welcome drinks on arrival. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was very nice, with several options of fresh fruits, juices, cakes, breads, delicious pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages, and so on. Could we say it is something like a full “continental breakfast”? At least very close to it. The waiters, always very well educated and friendly, will bring you hot beverages as you wish (milk, coffee, cappuccino, and so on…) . We were on the 3rd floor, facing the street. Some small noise from buses or trucks could be heard, nothing serious, and not during the night. The glass doors to the balcony will do a great job of noise protection. The view from the balcony was not excellent, facing the street, but it doesn’t matter, we were not there to sit in the balcony of any hotel. We were there for tourism, we didn’t spend time in the hotel during the day. Only for sleeping. Next time I might ask for the same room on the 3rd floor. Parking lot is very convenient if you have a car. EUR20/day. Location is very good, close to good restaurants and like 10 minutes walking from Piazza Tasso and the “old town”, which has several alleys to be explored and is definitely worth a visit, especially at night. Of course there are better hotels in Sorrento. At higher prices of course. But if you’re looking for a nice and clean place to stay, excellent breakfast, be very well treated, good location, this is probably the best option or at least one of the best options in Sorrento. If one day I come back to Sorrento, I will definitely try to book a room again with Gardenia Hotel. To all their staff, thank you for being part of our remarkable and amazing visit to Italy.

We stayed at the Hotel Gardenia in August 2024…lovely family run hotel in great location in Sorrento, the hotel is very clean, has all the amenities you wanted for a great holiday. Rooms were pleasant, spacious and well equipped, we had a large balcony too) Good breakfast to start your day, it caters for all and the service was great. Also a well stocked bar for evening drinks. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels left each day. The staff were always happy to help and nothing was too much when asked, whether that was at breakfast, reception or poolside. Towels were also available for use at the swimming pool. Would definitely recommend Hotel Gardenia and look forward to come back in the future.

Beautiful clean hotel in a great location. The pool area is fantastic and the food at the pool and inside was lovely. Staff are friendly, Emanuela on reception is so helpful. Fabulous stay in Sorrento. We had a perfect 5 days stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
