Faraglioni Rocks

Faraglioni are Italian coastal stacks – towering columns of stone standing far out at sea – and Capri’s farglioni are some of the most impressive in the world. Known locally as ‘The Three Sisters’, the island’s stacks can easily be seen from the coastal paths in Capri, and today are one of the island’s most iconic sights.

Often surrounded by glamorous yachts and trusty tour boats, the faraglioni rise to heights of nearly twice that of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, providing endless spectacular photo opportunities from below. The best way to see these monumental landmarks is by boat tour, although the Gardens of Augustus in Capri provide far more accessible viewing options should you prefer to stay on land.
