1. What was your most memorable holiday meal?
The carbonara I had in Rome. The dish is originally from Rome and now I understand why. Absolute perfection!2. What is the best thing about being in Italy?
The diversity of the different regions. Italy is filled with hidden gems and finding them is half the fun. The food is always fresh, wherever you go, you can expect freshly made delicious cuisine. Take the time to speak with the locals, Italians love talking about their country and sharing stories about their families. When you walk away from a dinner, it feels like you made a new friend.
3. Where would you love to go next, and why?
Puglia, the diversity of the regions is something I’ve always wanted to experience. I’d love to stay in a Trulli house or cave in Matera. Ending the holiday next to the coast.
4. Do you prefer visiting cities, coast or countryside, and why?
Cities, coast, and countryside. It’s like having to choose between your children. It’s not possible!
