Built at the turn of the century, the dignified Palace Hotel lies on the promenade across the road from the wide sandy beach in Viareggio. This hotel is spacious and tastefully furnished, and its guest rooms are traditional in style. The hotel’s delightful panoramic roof terrace is the ideal spot to relax and admire the stunning views of the coastline, and guests are welcome to use the swimming pool located across the road on the beach at 'La Pace' Beach Club with complimentary deckchairs, parasols and beach facilities (normally in use June to September).

Buffet breakfasts and traditional evening meals are served in the charming Belle Époque restaurant which is decorated with crystal chandeliers and during the summer months lunch can be taken on the panoramic roof terrace or at the 'La Pace' Beach Club's restaurant.
