Palermo and Monreale

Depart for Monreale, where you'll explore its magnificent cathedral (entrance fee included), adorned with opulent marble and exquisite mosaics throughout its interior. There is also time for an optional visit to the Benedictines' cloister. 

You will then journey to Palermo, where you will get the chance to explore the cathedral, the historic heart of the old town, stroll through the vibrant 'Capo' market, admire the Quattro Canti and Pretoria squares, and indulge in a tasting of Sicilian street food at a local Palermo bakery. You will have free time to enjoy lunch and leisure in the renowned Piazza Verdi, known as the square of the Massimo Theatre. In the afternoon, an optional visit to the Catacombs of the Capuchins awaits before you return to the hotel in time for dinner.
