Hotel Touring

This was my 6th time in Verona and my first stay here for six nights attending the VicenzaOro Jewelry Show. I highly recommend this hotel for many reasons. The staff is caring, the manager is involved and cares. The room was clean, the pillows and bed excellent and you can't beat this location within Verona. As a business traveler, I need excellent WiFi which they have and the breakfast is perfect, not overdone but practical to start your day. If driving there are plenty of public garages within walking distance to handle this situation as it is within the historic district.

What a gem of a hotel ! Our room was fabulous, the bed was so comfy, the shower was exceptional, staff very helpful, breakfast very nice also ! Very close to all the shops and tourist attractions in Old Town Vienna. Would certainly return.

This is a really good hotel and far, far better than it's "3 star" rating implies. Located in the heart of the old town a minute away from Piazza delle Erbe and a few minutes walk from the roman Amphitheatre it is a perfect base for exploring. Our 4th floor room was clean and had plenty of space, the bed comfy albeit the pillows a little firm. Bathroom was again spacious and to a high spec. The full breakfast was very good with hot and cold options and plenty of choice. The gluten-free corner, important for me, is good with quite a range of biscuits and sweet things but the gf bread could have been better re-stocked each day. The single lift is small and can be slow at busy times. All the staff we spoke to were, without exception, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in the centre and conviently surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants, but it is quite noisy until late in the evening if you have your windows open. We had to as the general temperature in the hotel from the heating (in December) was far too hot for us and even the in room air-conditioning didn't seem able to bring it down. A couple of things that would be welcome additions, complimentary bottled water in the room and cream or milk. There are coffee and tea making facilities in room but oddly no milk, that said the staff were happy to provide little jugs of milk whenever we asked. Overall a great hotel, better than it's billed and easily recommended.
