Set amongst wooded hills, about a mile from the village of Limite, the beautiful Il Borgo di Montereggi and Il Casale have been carefully converted from a Tuscan farmhouse to create attractive apartments which preserve the beauty and charm of the original 16th century features. The grounds of the estate span 250 acres and the Marmugi family, who own the property, produce their own wine and olive oil here.
Il Borgo di Montereggi has 12 apartments (with full air-conditioning), with one bedroom apartments sleeping 2-3 people and two bedroom apartments sleeping 3-5 people. Il Casale is located 500 metres from Il Borgo di Montereggi and has six apartments, all fully air-conditioned and located on the ground floor, with one bedroom apartments sleeping 2-3 people and two bedroom apartments sleeping 3-6 people. All the apartments are well equipped and have access to shared barbecues. Both properties boast a large shared swimming pool with sun loungers (normally in use mid May to September), and large terraces with lovely views over the countryside. The swimming pool at Il Casale also has a shallow area, making it more suitable for children.
The houses and their verdant surroundings enjoy utter peace and tranquillity, whilst being only half an hour away from Florence and the small town of Montelupo with several banks, restaurants and stores, is about three miles away.
Charging points for electric vehicles are now available at both Il Borgo di Montereggi and Il Casale.
Minimum stay 7 nights and Sat arrivals only between July - September.

Set downriver from Florence, Limite Sul’Arno is a petite Tuscan village tucked neatly around a corner of the River Arno. With little but the rolling hills and flowing water to see, it’s a truly peaceful location that provides great access to Florence and Empoli. The pretty jumble of terracotta-coloured buildings leading from the hilltop to the Arno’s banks makes Limite Sul’Arno one of the most beautiful settings for a Tuscan escape.
During your stay, spend some time exploring local towns and villages, and definitely set aside a day to tackle Florence. You’ll find many of Italy’s most remarkable galleries and museums here, as well as historic palazzos and churches.

The 2 bedroom apartment Girasole is on the ground floor and has a private entrance into a large living/dining room and a kitchen area. A staircase leads to one twin bedroom, a second smaller twin bedroom and two shower rooms. There is also a table and chairs outside.

The 2 bedroom apartment Biancospino sleeps 3-5 people and is on the ground floor. A private entrance leads into a living/dining room with kitchen area. One step leads to one twin and one double bedroom and two shower rooms. There is also a table and chairs outside.
