About Casa Malagronda

We discovered this lovingly restored 18th century farmhouse close to the village of Moiano. Converted into six apartments, it enjoys an elevated position in its own mature gardens within which is set a large swimming pool (normally in use May-Sep), which may also be used by guests of two small apartments located just over half a mile (1km) away. The location offers tranquillity, being surrounded by woods and olive groves, from which the finest extra virgin olive oil is produced and the Casa Malgronda offers weekly tasting of local wines, oils and cheeses (payable locally). The spacious rustic interiors have been tastefully furnished in a typical Umbria farmhouse style. Each apartment has terracotta floors, beamed ceilings and an open fireplace (no fireplace in the 2-bedroom apartment) as well as modern facilities including television, CD player, telephone, safe and hairdryer plus a kitchen with a microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and kettle. Wood for the fireplace is available, payable locally. There are two barbecues within the grounds plus a laundry room with iron. Mountain bikes are available for hire on site. For local shops, Moiano is just a couple of miles (3km) away while the train station at Chiusi is 3 miles (5km) away.

1 bedroom for 2-3 people on the ground floor. Lounge with a single and a double divan beds and kitchen area. One double bedroom. Shower room. Terrace with tables, chairs and sunloungers.



SUGHERA

Independant apartment with 2 bedrooms for 2-5 people laid out on the lower ground and ground floors. Lounge with a double and a single divan bed and kitchen area, shower room and covered patio and terrace. Downstairs has 2 twin/double bedroom with ensuite shower room.
