This idyllic 400 year old stone villa has been lovingly restored and decorated with great attention to detail.

Standing on a hillside amongst olive trees, Villa Manuela commands inspiring views of the surrounding hills and vales, and also of the lovely town of Cortona, 4 miles (6.

The house was built on two floors and still has its original wooden beams and terracotta floors.

On entering, you are greeted by the very cosy living room with television and comfortable sofas.

Doors lead out to the large lawned garden.

The double bedroom is also on the ground floor and has an ensuite shower room.

A wooden staircase leads up to the pretty blue and white kitchen/dining room which has a fireplace and is well-equipped with fridge, freezer, 4-ring hob, oven and dishwasher.

There are two further bedrooms on this floor, one twin and one twin/double, separated by a bathroom.

Behind the villa is the superb private swimming pool (normally in use May-Sep) set in a panoramic spot in the garden, with sunloungers.

At the front of the building is a charming garden with table and chairs.

There is also a conveniently situated separate outhouse with kitchen facilities and a washing machine.

Provisions can be purchased at the hamlet of Ossaia, 3 miles (5km) from the villa.
