About Il Borgo di Montereggi

Set amongst wooded hills, about a mile from the village of Limite, this beautifully converted farmhouse houses first-rate apartments, carefully preserving the beauty and charm of the original 16th century structures. The beautiful walking grounds of the estate span 100 hectares and the Marmugi family, who own the property, produce their own wine and olive oil here. There is a communal barbecue area and a large swimming pool (normally in use May-Sep), whose large terrace has lovely views over the countryside. Citalia offer the eight apartments in the main farmhouse (Colonica 1) with its wooden beamed ceilings plus a cosy communal lounge which has a television, video and a stone fireplace. All the bedrooms have twin beds that can be made up as doubles if requested. The kitchen areas are all equipped with a 4-ring gas hob, an electric oven and a fridge. The houses and their verdant surroundings enjoy utter peace and tranquillity, whilst being only half an hour away from Florence and the small town of Montelupo, with several banks, restaurants and stores, is about 3 miles (5km) away.

All apartments have twin beds that can be made up as doubles on request. The kitchen areas are all equipped with a 4-ring gas hob, an electric oven and a fridge.

EDERA & FIORDALISO

First floor. Shared entrance and 19 steps leading up to a communal lounge on the first floor. Entrance to a living/dining room with French divan bed and kitchen area. One large twin bedroom and a shower room. Edera has a communal area outside with table and chairs.






TWO BEDROOM APARTMENTS (For 3-4 people)



BIANCOSPINO

Ground floor. Private entrance into a living/dining room with kitchen area, divan bed. One step leads to one twin and one double bedroom and two shower rooms. Table and chairs outside.



GENZIANA & PAPAVERO

First floor. Shared entrance with 19 steps leading up to the communal lounge on the first floor. Entrance to living/dining room and kitchen. One twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. Second twin bedroom and second shower room.


GIRASOLE

Ground floor. Private entrance into a large living/dining room and a kitchen area. Open staircase (not suitable for children) up to one twin bedroom, a second smaller twin bedroom and two shower rooms. Table and chairs outside.
