About Hotel Castello

For a taste of Sardinian luxury, the Hotel Castello is a traditional, top-class hotel and has been a favourite with Citalia guests for many years.

This hotel is situated in a secluded corner of the Forte Village, yet is only a few metres from the gorgeous stretch of white sandy beach and within easy reach of all the facilities in the resort. The hotel is elegantly decorated throughout with tapestries and sumptuous furnishings, and in soothing pale, natural colours. There is a chic cocktail bar waiting for you to sit back and relax with a refreshing drink, and the romantic outdoor Restaurant Cavalieri plays host to an impressive candlelit buffet dinner, accompanied by gentle piano music. The buffet breakfast, offers a vast assortment of fresh fruits and cooked items, to be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace under the shade of marine pine trees.

Between the beach and the Hotel Castello , there are two beautiful freshwater swimming pools exclusively reserved for guests of the Castello, Le Dune and Villa del Parco; an ideal place and perfect for days under the glorious Sardinian skies.

The popular Hotel Castello is immersed in the beauty of the Sardinian countryside, yet is only moments away from a glorious beach where you can try some of the various watersports, sailing and even scuba diving that are available.

Accommodation:

Rooms and suites are furnished in typical Sardinian style and they all feature a balcony or terrace. Spacious bedrooms can be double or twin and they include air conditioning, telephone, TV, a minibar and a safe. Bathrooms include showers and baths (some have whirlpool). Interconnecting rooms are available on request.

Please note - The Standard Superior rooms (Pineta View) only accommodate 2 adults. Infants travelling will be on a request basis.

VIP Package: For just £60 per person per day the VIP package will entitle you to - free unlimited entry to the Thaermae del Forte which includes Thalassotherapy pools, sauna, Turkish bath and techno-gym (excludes all massages and beauty treatments. No children under 16 years) - Entry to all restaurants without paying the normal upgrade fee (subject to reservation and bookable locally) - free windsurfing and sailing (lessons not included). This VIP package is not available between 19 Jul-22 Aug.

Dining Guide:

The Forte Village offers 21 different restaurants so you can experience a variety of exquisite cuisine during your stay. Upon arrival, Citalia guests will receive a meal pass, which includes daily breakfast and dinner. Some restaurants will require a supplement, which is payable in resort.

Breakfast is served on the Oasis Terrace, which offers a generous hot and cold buffet served on the terrace.

Dinner options are almost limitless with restaurants serving a broad range of dishes from all over the world. When dining at La Pineta, which offers a sumptuous buffet, guests will receive a complimentary half bottle of house wine and mineral water per person. Other highlights include the Belvedere Restaurant, which offers local Sardianian cuisine accompanied by a selection of the finest wines. The traditional Torre Grill Restaurant serves steaks and other delicious meats straight from their grill. For seafood lovers, there is the Beachcomber Restaurant and Is Arenas Restaurant and for our youngest guests, the Fortino Restaurant is specially tailored to children.

Please note that not all restaurants and facilities are open during off peak season (May, June and September). Corporate conferences/events can take place during the off peak season, which may also effect the opening of certain facilities and restaurants. A dress code applies to the restaurants in the evening (no shorts allowed).
