About Hotel Villa di Montesolare
The elegant and charming Villa di Montesolare is set among olive groves and vineyards on a 80 acre estate, ideally situated for exploring both Tuscany and Umbria. Villa di Montesolare is a beautiful family run historic residence, which dates back to 1780 and was carefully converted into a luxury hotel in 1989. Since then, under the custody of the owners Filippo and Rosi Iannarone, Villa di Montesolare has worked with Citalia for over 20 years and is the proud member of 'Small luxury hotels of the world'.Today the luxury hotel conserves many of its original characteristics but at the same time offering every comfort of a modern and luxurious hotel. Guest rooms are allocated in the main house, the villa and fair building the Limonaia, the Casa dei Gelsi, the Olivaia and Casa Olivi. Part of the property is a Fattoria (once a 17th century farm) comprised of two buildings, Casa dei Gelsi and Olivaia, both in a lovely setting only 185m from the Villa, down a steep track. Guests staying at the Fattoria take their breakfast there and have their own pool.
All rooms offer a high level of comfort, using traditional fabrics from the local town of Montefalco. Inspired by the myth of the nearby Muserale valley, the hotel also boasts "Le Muse" Spa & Beauty Farm. This well equipped beauty centre offers more than a hundred different massages, aesthetic treatments, and exclusive relaxation courses for individuals or couples. Villa di Montesolare offers a wide range of Italian and international dishes and in particular their traditional Umbrian-Tuscan cuisine is prepared with many naturally organic ingredients. It is worth noting that the half board basis that is offered at the Villa di Montesolare offers exceptional value for money, for Citalia guests.

The rooms and the suites are spacious, lightly coloured with soft pastel tones, enriched with antique furniture with large double beds.All rooms have a minibar, safe, room entertainment system, high speed and wireless internet access, telephone with direct external line, air conditioning and heating.

Restaurant La Terrezza is open during the warm season in the garden in front of the Villa and is the ideal place to treat oneself to savouring the delicious suggestions of our chef while experiencing the pleasant Mediterranean climate.Restaurant La Cantina boasts a wine list that is recognised as the most important and widest range of selected Umbrian wines. The wine list, edited by the Umbrian sommelier Mirko Torrini, includes about 400 Umbrian and Italian wines from the best, most well known producers, as well as many particular and rare wines from small and very skilled producers.
