About Grand Hotel Continental
The elegant Grand Hotel Continental is located close to the impressive ancient square, Piazza del Campo, famous for its bi-annual medieval horse race, il Palio. Formerly the Gori Palace, the building is steeped in history and underwent a painstaking restoration project, re-opening in 2002 as the most illustrious five star hotel in the heart of Siena. The hotel's facilities include The Sapordivino wine bar and restaurant, which serves Tuscan cuisine and other local delicacies.Accommodation:
All rooms and suites feature double or twin beds, marble bathroom with bath and shower, satellite TV, WiFi, telephone, air conditioning, safe, hairdryer and minibar.Classic Double rooms measure 25m² and are elegantly furnished.
Superior Double rooms are the same as classic double rooms with the added benefit of being in a better appointed position.
Deluxe Double rooms measure 35m² and are elegant with either classical Italian or contemporary furniture.
Junior Suites measure 50m² offer refined and sophisticated style. Most have high ceilings, original frescos and luxurious fabrics. Junior Suites also have an open plan sitting area.
Suites measure 65m² and offer a separate bedroom and living area. Just like the junior suites they are refined and very sophisticated.
