About Villa La Massa
A fine example of 16th century Medicean architecture, this significant villa now ranks as one of Italy's finest luxurious hotels and enjoys a stunning semi-rural location amidst enchanting Tuscan countryside on the south bank of the River Arno, yet the centre of Florence is only a 15 minute drive away. Villa La Massa, a member of 'The Leading Hotels of the World' collection, is housed in three buildings whose lounges and guestrooms are beautifully decorated with antiques and sumptuous period furnishings. Within beautifully landscaped grounds, facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and guests have the opportunity to explore the legendary Chianti wine region nearby as well as the Renaissance riches of Florence's museums and churches on a regular basis using the hotel's courtesy shuttle to and from the Ponte Vecchio.
