About Villa Il Poggiale
Villa Il Poggiale is a lovely 16th century villa located in the heart of the Chianti region, just one and a half miles (2.5km) from the pretty town of San Casciano and only 11 miles (18km) outside Florence. This Renaissance villa has been carefully restored, retaining many of its elegant original features, to offer the intimate and relaxed atmosphere of a private residence. Each of the spacious guest rooms are individually furnished with tasteful décor and exceptional attention to detail. Breathtaking views of the Chianti countryside can be enjoyed from the villa, the attractive swimming pool and the delightful, lovingly-tended gardens. The restaurant at the villa offers cooking classes and traditional Tuscan cuisine and the chef is on hand to recommend that perfect home-made dish.
