About Grand Hotel De La Ville
Located in a residential area, close to the town centre, the Grand Hotel De La Ville lies opposite an enclosed lemon grove.Behind its yellow ochre exterior, this traditional hotel enjoys a relaxing atmosphere with all modern amenities at hand. Guest rooms are spacious and attractively furnished using the local Vietri tiles and inlaid wood, a traditional feature of Sorrento and its surrounding areas.
The Grand Hotel De La Ville's key feature is its rooftop terrace, where you can spend those long summer days relaxing in the small rooftop pool, soaking up views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The Bar Il Ibiscus is at hand to serve drinks and snacks. From May to October there is a weekly gala buffet dinner, a piano bar once per week and live music is performed twice a week.
The second swimming pool is located in the hotel's small garden, where snacks can be served - deckchairs, parasols and sun beds are free of charge. Guests are also welcome to use the bathing platform of its nearby sister hotel, the Grand Hotel Royal (charges included, normally in use June to September).
A delightful courtyard with citrus trees and a wishing well provides a relaxing setting in which to re-energise after a day's sightseeing or enjoy an aperitivo before dinner.
Accommodation:
Twin rooms are spacious and elegant with classical style furnishings and twin beds. They have balconies overlooking the beautiful hotel gardens. Facilities include a bathtub, air conditioning (May - mid Oct), satellite TV, radio, minibar, hairdryer, telephone and safe (payable locally, approx. €3.50 a day).Twin Side Sea View rooms have a side sea view from the balcony.
Twin Sea View rooms have the luxury of a front panoramic sea view from the balcony.
Single rooms are available with a balcony.
