About Grand Hotel De La Ville
Located in a residential area, close to the town centre, the Grand Hotel De La Ville lies opposite an enclosed lemon grove.Behind its yellow ochre exterior, this traditional hotel enjoys a relaxing atmosphere with all modern amenities at hand. Guestrooms are spacious and attractively furnished using the local Vietri tiles and inlaid wood, a traditional feature of Sorrento and its surrounding areas.
The Grand Hotel De La Ville's key feature is its rooftop terrace, where you can spend those long summer days relaxing in the small rooftop pool, soaking up views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The Bar Il Ibiscus is at hand to serve drinks and snacks. From May to October there is a weekly gala buffet dinner and live music is performed twice a week, and from June to October there is a piano bar once per week.
The second swimming pool is located in the hotel's small garden, where snacks can be served - deckchairs, parasols and sun beds are free of charge. Guests are also welcome to use the bathing platform (charges included, normally in use Jun-Sep) of its nearby sister hotel, the Grand Hotel Royal.
A delightful courtyard with citrus trees and a wishing well provides a relaxing setting in which to re-energise after a day's sightseeing, or enjoy an aperitivo before dinner.
