About Grand Hotel Ambasciatori

Resting high above the bay with its impressive views towards Mount Vesuvius, the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori is a very comfortable and well-run hotel just around the corner from Sorrento's Museo Correale di Terranova.

Behind its light terracotta exterior lovely public rooms are decorated in neutral colours and cool marble flooring. Guestrooms are tastefully furnished with the local and traditional inlaid wood furniture and Vietri tiled floors.

Start the day with a scenic breakfast on Restaurant Le Muse's terrace before relaxing by the swimming pool, which is set in lush semi-tropical gardens. The poolside Bar Dioniso and barbecue serves drinks and lunchtime snacks. From May to October the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori hosts a weekly gala buffet dinner and live music twice per week, and from June to October there is a piano bar once per week.

A lift descends to the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori's private bathing platform where there is the Poseidone Snack Bar, an ideal place to while away those long Sorrentine afternoons and watch the world sail past. Other facilities include nearby tennis courts (payable locally).

The elegant Grand Hotel Ambasciatori is only a 10 minute walk from Piazza Tasso, the heart of Sorrento.
