About Grand Hotel Riviera

Backing onto lemon and orange groves, the Grand Hotel Riviera is set right on the cliff face with uninterrupted views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, and yet it is less than a 10 minute walk from the centre of Sorrento.

The guestrooms are spacious and decorated in shades of green and blue with the attractive palm leaf design on the Vietri floor tiles, which runs throughout the hotel, coordinating with the patterned fabrics.

The restaurant serves food of a very high standard and light lunches are available at the snack bar. An elegant lounge, which adjoins the bar, is a great place to relax in surrounded by the countless works of art that adorn the walls.

The swimming pool and lovely terrace continue to enjoy those beautiful views that stretch across the Mediterranean. The terrace is the ideal place to enjoy a long chilled drink in the late afternoon whilst watching the cruise ships and yachts anchor in the distance, or even return to after dinner to perhaps sample a traditional limoncello. Twice a week from June to September, the hotel arranges live musical entertainment.

A lift leads from the terrace to the Grand Hotel Riviera's private bathing platform with a beach bar - deckchairs and parasols are free of charge, and sunbeds are payable locally.

Accommodation:

Rooms are spacious and bright with views over either the Gulf of Naples or the hotel's beautiful gardens. All rooms have a balcony, air conditioning, satellite television, minibar, hairdryer, wifi connection, direct line phone, safe, bath and shower. All rooms are twin but double beds are available on request.


Side Sea View & Balcony
These rooms have a side sea view from the balcony in addition to the above facilties. It is possible to add a third single bed to the room.

Front Sea View & Balcony
These rooms have the luxury of a panoramic front sea view from the balcony in addition to the above facilities. It is possible to add a third single bed to the room.

Junior Suite Front Sea View & Balcony
These suites are very spacious and well furnished with a separate seating area. They offer a full sea view from the large terrace. It is possible to add a third single bed to the room.

Single Room
Single rooms are available but please note that they don't have a balcony.

Glance across Sorrento's evocative landscape and you will see the soft pink, blue and ochre buildings of Piazza Tasso.
