About Grand Hotel Riviera
Backing onto lemon and orange groves, the Grand Hotel Riviera is set right on the cliff face with uninterrupted views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, and yet it is less than a 10 minute walk from the centre of Sorrento.The guest rooms are spacious and decorated in shades of green and blue with the attractive palm leaf design on the Vietri floor tiles, which runs throughout the hotel, co-ordinating with the patterned fabrics.
The restaurant serves food of a very high standard and light lunches are available at the snack bar. An elegant lounge, which adjoins the bar, is a great place to relax in surrounded by the countless works of art that adorn the walls.
The swimming pool and lovely terrace continue to enjoy those beautiful views that stretch across the Mediterranean. The terrace is the ideal place to enjoy a long chilled drink in the late afternoon whilst watching the cruise ships and yachts anchor in the distance, or even return to after dinner to perhaps sample a traditional limoncello. Twice a week from June to September, the hotel arranges live musical entertainment.
A lift leads from the terrace to the Grand Hotel Riviera's private bathing platform with a beach bar - deckchairs, parasols and sunbeds are free of charge.
Accommodation:
Twin rooms are spacious and bright with views over either the Gulf of Naples or the hotel's beautiful gardens. All rooms have a balcony, air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar, hairdryer, internet access, telephone, safe, bathtub and shower.Twin Side Sea View rooms have a side sea view from the balcony.
Twin Front Sea View rooms have the luxury of a panoramic front sea view from the balcony.
Junior Suites are very spacious and well furnished with a separate seating area. They offer a full sea view from the large terrace.
Single rooms are available however they do not have a balcony.
